We are pleased to report that The Target Group, Inc., producer of Food Safety World Conference & Expo , announced that they will merge their event into the 2007 Food Safety & Security Summit next March 6-8 at the Washington DC Convention Center.

According to a statement from Stacy Atchison, president of The Target Group, this agreement "will signal to the industry that only one independent food safety industry show will be held in Washington DC next spring. The Target Group will have a booth at the 2007 Summit , where it will distribute Food Safety and Organic Processing magazines. In addition, there are provisions in the merger agreement for Food Safety World exhibitors, these companies will be contacted in the near future to discuss the details, as will all of our sponsors and sustaining and supporting organizations."
