FRESNO, CA – October 27, 2009 – Agrian (www.agrian.com), the nation’s first fully integrated agridata tracking solution, announced today its most exciting innovation to date, the Agrian Mobile Information Center. The Agrian Mobile Information Center takes Agrian’s comprehensive and easy-to-use agro-chemical compliance label database and provides it on the iPhone/iPod Touch platform giving those involved in crop protection and food safety the ability to access over 3,800 manufacturer approved labels anywhere at anytime.

“The Agrian Mobile Information Center replaces thousands of pages of documents and out-of-date label books and delivers the most current label information available¾all in a device that weighs less than 4.8 ounces,” said Nishan Majarian, co-founder and chief executive officer for Agrian.  

The Agrian Mobile Information Center provides on-demand searchable label information while in the field, enabling subscribers to search by product brand name, registered states, pests controlled and specific product use rates.  The application also includes active ingredient, signal word, minimum air/ground diluents and safety information.  When connected to the web via phone service or Wi-Fi, users gain the ability to view and maneuver through the manufacturer’s original product label and material safety data sheets (MSDSs).  The app is available for download at iTunes to Agrian Documented subscribers.
